Simpson & Vail Grand Canyon National Park Tea
Prickly pear seems exactly right for a tea inspired by the Grand Canyon.
Simpson & Vail's Grand Canyon National Park Tea begins with a full-bodied black tea and adds sweet prickly pear flavor, earthy roots, and blue cornflower petals for a blend inspired by the remarkable plant life that manages to thrive in the canyon's demanding desert environment.
Prickly pear cactus can be found throughout the Grand Canyon and along its rim, so Simpson & Vail made it the centerpiece of this blend. Its gently sweet fruit character is balanced by eleuthero root and pau d'arco, which give the cup a subtle earthy note and keep the flavor from becoming one-dimensional.
It's an unusual combination—and exactly the sort of tea we love when you're ready to venture beyond the ordinary.
Simpson & Vail donates 10% of sales from Grand Canyon National Park Tea to the Grand Canyon Conservancy, which helps fund preservation, education, trails, historic structures, wildlife protection, and other projects within the park.
