Simpson & Vail Yosemite National Park Tea
Pineapple and spearmint may not be the first combination you expect in a black tea—and that's exactly why Yosemite is worth trying.
Simpson & Vail designed Yosemite National Park Tea around a word that appeared again and again in descriptions of the park: refreshing.
A smooth black tea base carries juicy pineapple flavor and cooling spearmint, creating a blend that feels simultaneously fruity and fresh. Marigold petals add a little sunshine to the dry leaf, while the mint aroma rises immediately from the brewed cup.
The pineapple keeps the spearmint from becoming too sharp, while the mint keeps the fruit from becoming overly sweet. The result is bright, balanced and especially appealing when you want something outside the ordinary black-tea routine.
It's excellent hot, but this may be one of the National Park blends that practically begs to be poured over ice.
Simpson & Vail donates 10% of Yosemite tea sales to the Yosemite Conservancy, which funds restoration, education, research and visitor programs within the park.
